Its overarching policy is to encourage private investments through sound macro-economic policies, a competitive enabling environment and an efficient and modern public sector. Investors are encouraged to enter in and operate enterprises in all fields of lawful economic activity. Investment opportunities abound across a wide range of sectors particularly Tourism & Hospitality, Manufacturing, Information Communication Technology, Health Education & Wellness Services, Agribusiness and Energy Development. Grenada has a democratic style of government, a stable economy, developed infrastructure, reliable investment support services and a low crime rate. There is a minimum entry requirement, easy movement of capital, profit and dividends and attractive fiscal

incentives. There is no restriction on foreign ownership or on foreign currency transactions. The primary goal of the GIDC is to increase private sector investments in Grenada. GIDC targets foreign direct investments and provides support for the development of small and medium enterprises.
