Design Solutions is a supply company specializing in architectural hardware, high end fittings and finishing products for buildings. The company is the brain child of COCOA architects’, Bryan Bullen. “In the interest of completing projects many people in Grenada have been faced with settling for products of lesser quality as they are the only ones at their disposal, however, with Design Solutions, we aim to fill this void and raise the standard of what has been traditionally offered” explains Bryan. With the return of his sister Marcia Bullen-Wilson to Grenada in 2008 discussions came about between the two siblings and the idea took root. Like Bryan, Marcia has a unique flair for the arts, and has amassed an impressive portfolio which includes fine art and interior design. Sharing creative ideas is not new to the brother and sister duo as they have a long history of collaboration. “Since our teens we’ve done home projects together,” explains Marcia. “Our formative years were spent in Canada living in a household where ‘the arts’ were ever present. Our dad is an architect and provided inspiration for us. We developed a keen sense of seeing the world in a creative way.” Creativity is resonant in all aspects of Design Solutions.
