For dessert, patrons can choose from crispy and sweet Baklava with its layers of filo dough stuffed with walnuts and rosewater syrup, or coconut dates. “I love this place. I adore Mediterranean food, and this restaurant does not cease to amaze me every time I go there. I have made it a goal of mine to try everything on the menu,” said Helga Progri, on Facebook. Aladass said despite having eight years in Oklahoma City and even longer living in Texas, he really enjoys working in Edmond. “We got lucky with our location here. There’s a lot of people shopping who walk by and see our sign. I did zero advertising and we’re doing really good. People come in and have a meal and they tell their friends and come back,” he said. “We have quality food and our workers here are really nice.” Aladass said they are busy during the lunch rush from noon to 2 p.m. and the dinner rush starts right after 6 p.m. “Customers can expect the best when they come here. The prices are good and the food is excellent,” he said.
