Baker said the idea behind Integrated Architecture is not only coordinating the technical elements of a building but also the design team itself. “We are a general architect so we don’t specialize in any building type,” Baker said. “We do things differently. We try to run a place that reflects our attitudes and our thoughts about what we do. We really get to decide what our economic drivers are. We help our clients build the team they can trust to bring value to their project. Baker said Integrated Architecture has continued to grow. “We are in the middle of some changes,” he said. “Since December we have doubled in size. We need a certain type of person to work here and that is someone who takes control of what they are responsible for. We want to have different ideas. It’s a collaborative process.
