And she along with her husband Gary and business partner Michael Pone prove that each week through their dance classes at Dance Makers Inc. located at 610 South Kelly Avenue in Edmond. At Oklahoma’s largest ballroom dancing school their entire staff have been trained and certified using the internationally standardized ballroom syllabus. Between the three owners and their large staff of instructors, Dance Makers has more than 150 years of combined dance experience in all styles of dancing including Foxtrot, 10 August 2018 | The Business Times Waltz, Tango, Swing, Salsa and Cha Cha. They offer private dance instruction, group classes, professional floor shows, youth dance and fitness classes, wedding dance preparation and corporate event entertainment. “Ballroom dancing is easy and it is fun and it is for everyone,” Gina said. “We can take someone with two left feet and turn them into a dancer.” Since opening in 1988, Dance Makers enjoyed 25 years in their Oklahoma City location. In February 2013, Dance Makers relocated to a larger state of the art studio in Edmond. With 8,000 square feet of decor and three floating hardwood dance floors, it enables Dance Makers to offer a high-quality and fun- filled experience for both the social and competitive dancer. “We just decided to open up on Northwest Expressway and everybody thought we were nuts for going out there because it was so far,” Bramlett said. “We were there for 25 years. We had wanted to come up to Edmond. We thought it was a great fit and here we are.” Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. “We have a nice schedule for everybody,” she said.
