WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY READ? Lindsey: "The Death of Expertise" by Tom Nichols Scott: I like to read the Bible. WHAT'S THE LAST MOVIE YOU SAW IN THEATERS? Lindsey: I think that it was "Transform- ers 2." Finding time to go to the theaters is a tough one. WHAT CAUSE ARE YOU PASSION- ATE ABOUT? Lindsey: I am passionate about influenc- ing the mindset and perception of Ottum- wa toward something more positive and fruitful. I’ve lived other places and they have many of the same challenges that Ottumwa faces. I love living here and I want others to as well. Scott: Helping people through Kingdom Builders. WHAT INSPIRES YOU? Lindsey: I’m inspired to take good care of this community so future generations can benefit from the work we put in. Scott: The people of Ottumwa. WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO? Lindsey: I listen to anything that comes across my Pandora account. It’s a mix of a lot of things. I get bored easily, so I like a variety. Scott: Soft. IF YOU COULD TRADE PLACES WITH ANYONE FOR A WEEK, WHO WOULD IT BE? Lindsey: Nothing is ever as it seems from the outside, so I don’t have someone in mind. Scott: Pastor Marty. IF YOU COULD MEET ANYONE, NOW OR FROM THE PAST, WHO WOULD IT BE? Lindsey: Honestly, I would go back and visit with the people who started the Can- teen and the ladies who worked here before me. Scott: Burt Reynolds. IF YOU COULD, TO WHAT ERA WOULD YOU TIME TRAVEL? Lindsey: The 1930s Scott: 2040. IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE MONEY? Lindsey: Set something up so my kids and grandkids wouldn’t have to worry about how they will pay for their educa- tion. Scott: I would support my children, grandchildren and the church.
