FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP CORPUS CHRISTI ANNOUNCES SELECTION OF 46 TH CLASS T he United Corpus Chris- ti Chamber of Commerce Foundation is pleased to an- nounce the participants selected for Leadership Corpus Christi (LCC) Class 46. Thirty applicants are carefully screened and selected each year to participate in the 10-month intensive training program. This will be the pro- gram’s 46th consecutive year. Class 46 will kick off on August 10th with a Welcome Reception hosted at IBC Bank. The purpose of Leadership Corpus Christi is to prepare dedicat- ed, visionary leaders with passion to improve the quality of life for all persons and institutions in the Cor- 31 pus Christi com- munity. Sessions are designed to educate our city’s current and future leaders on the issues and opportunities facing the city. Topics include quality of life, di- versity, education, economic develop- ment, government and servant leader- ship principles throughout. A Steering Committee of past alumni helps plans the programming each year. Sean Babcock, with Corpus Christi Indepen- dent School District, is the LCC Class 46 Steering Committee Chair.
