AND THE MILITARY
SOUTH TEXAS MILITARY FACILITIES TASK FORCE:
The Chamber's South Texas Military Facilities Task
Force is made up of business and community lead-
ers. The Mission of the Task Force is to preserve,
protect and expand the missions of NASCC, NASK,
CCAD and U.S. Coast Guard Sector 6; to foster a mil-
itary friendly atmosphere in South Texas; and to act
as liaison between base leadership and community
leadership.
The Task Force is chaired by Wes Hoskins, Presi-
dent and CEO of First Community Bank, and direct-
ed by Joe Guzman.
SALUTE TO THE MILITARY:
The Chamber's annual 'Salute to the Military' lun-
cheon presents a time for the business community
to show support for our local Military facilities and
personnel. At Salute, the Military Legacy Scholar-
ship is awarded to an active duty military member,
their spouse or dependent from the Coastal Bend.
