INITIATIVES QUICK HITS 1 1 BACK TO BUSINESS RECOVERY CONCERT // Coastal Bend United is pleased to present the "Back to Business" Harvey Recovery Concert on Friday and Saturday, November 2-3 at the Community Park (Festival Grounds) in Aransas Pass. In addition to the concert, a carnival will take place November 2, 3 and 4. The vibrant and diverse entertainment lineup includes Rotel & the Hot Tomatoes, The Last Bandoleros, Derek Spence "A George Strait Tribute Band and more! Attendees will enjoy a variety of food choices from some of the finest food trucks in the Coastal Bend and special commemorative t-shirts will be available for purchase. The Chamber has partnered with Your Chamber Connection (YCC) to conduct a membership event from November 13-16, 2018. Intentionally referred to as an "event" verses the typical membership "drive," this unique and high-energy membership campaign will increase community awareness of the Chamber's role while building the membership base. Stay tuned for more information on "The Main Event!" 3 GOVERNOR'S SMALL BUSINESS WOMEN'S FORUM // The Governor's Small Business Forum for Women will take place in Corpus Christi on Thursday, October 25 at the Holiday Inn Downtown Marina. The event aims to provide small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with timely, relevant, actionable advice on how to start, grow and sustain their businesses. The conference will feature private and public small business resources, practical solutions, best practices and expert assistance on a broad range of business topics and challenges.
