The delegation traveled to Washington, D.C. to represent the Coastal Bend and voice our concerns to the nation's top legislators and policy officials. The busy, three- day itinerary included meetings with Congressman Cloud, Senator Cornyn and Senator Cruz, to name a few. Thank you to all who participated in this crucial effort to advocate for our members and the Coastal Bend business community. The Chamber's Picnickin' & Politickin' mixer occurred the evening of October 15 at BUS (Bar Under the Sun) and provided Chamber members with the opportunity to do just that. In addition to the opportunity to mix and mingle with elected officials and candidates in a casual and non-partisan setting, all in attendance enjoyed Boston Dawgs Authentic East Coast Cheesesteaks, signature cocktails and live music from the Drive Duo. The evening was a great success as we had great participation from elected officials, candidates and Chamber members alike. We hope all who attended found the event beneficial and feel one-step closer to making an informed decision at the polls on November 6. 3 MI CASA ES SU CASA HONORS PAULETTE KLUGE // Well over 75 guests attended Mi Casa Es Su Casa honoring Paulette Kluge, CEO of the CC CVB, on October 17 at the home of Todd M. A special thank you to our event sponsors (click to view), Todd Walter, Dr. Cintron and Paulette Kluge for a fabulous and successful evening!
