Key components of our revenue stream includes membership dues, renewals and special events. We anticipate to end the year in a positive financial state. Reaching this milestone will enable us to build up reserve funding which is a good practice for an organization such as ours. Your Chamber leadership has worked diligently to be good stewards of your investment and we sincerely appreciate your support. Coastal Bend, United! Collaboration and establishing community partnerships that will continue to build on and expand the mission of the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is a defining moment in our history. One of those is Coastal Bend United. Coastal Bend United emerged from the rubble left by Hurricane Harvey and consists of area chambers of commerce, visitor bureaus and economic development corporations who dedicated to helping small businesses in the area receive funds to rebuild and re-open. It began with the Boots, Business & BBQ fundraiser that occurred on November 17, 2017 and the idea that these like-minded entities could work together to help the businesses who were in dire need of assistance to rebuild. $177,000 was raised at the event and Rebuild Texas matched the funds dollar for dollar. Together, we have raised $800,000+ to date. A application process was implemented in each of the communities of these organizations in order to distribute the funds and recovery is still underway. The coordinated efforts of the Coastal Bend United group has elevated our chamber and impact. 210 205 WE DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL OFFICIALS WE SUPPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES WHICH ENHANCE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF EXISTING AND NEW BUSINESS WE ENCOURAGE EFFORTS THAT SUPPORT AND ENSURE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL CITIZENS OF THE REGION We've participated in 68 RIBBON CUTTINGS To date in 2018 NETWORKING EVENTS Hosted by the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce throughout 2018, including: 43+ BUENOS DIAS CHAMBER BUSINESS UPDATE COCKTAILS & CONVERSATION CHAMBER 101 BUSINESS OFF THE CLOCK UNITED CORPUS CHRISTI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ARANSAS PASS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN P ART N ER SH IP WIT H R E BU I LD T E X A S CORPUS CHRISTI BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CORPUS CHRISTI CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU CORPUS CHRISTI REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION INGLESIDE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PORT ARANSAS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND TOURIST BUREAU PORTLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 318 $800k ROCKPORT-FULTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SAN PATRICIO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION Click here to view the full state of the chamber presentation UNITEDCORPUSCHRISTICHAMBER.COM 28
