Workforce Success, Corpus Chris-
ti has been working to implement
policies and practices to support
this work locally. The value of a col-
lege educated community brings
both personal and city-wide bene-
fits.
When earnings are examined over
a career a high school graduate
earns $1.4 million compared to an
Associate’s degree earning $1.8
million; a Bachelor’s degree equat-
ing to $2.5 million and a Master’s
degree holder earning $2.9 million
according to the recent Center for
Education and the Workforce (CEW)
at Georgetown University report. In
order for this to happen connec-
tions need to be made between
education and workforce to create
informed and aligned pathways.
