Business Marketing Magazine Summer 2017 Do It Yourself SEO Tips and Tools | Page 5
I
t’s the end of February 2016 and over 15% of the year has already
passed. Unbelievable… Where does time go? The next thing you
know, it’ll be the November elections and almost the beginning of
next year!
At least for me, if it’s anything like last year, there were a lot of things
that I could have done that fell by the wayside for a myriad of reasons, including:
1. Procrastination
2.
Conflicting priorities
3.
Things/events outside my control that required immediate
attention
4.
Changing goals
5.
New opportunities
6.
Time wasters
7.
Over-thinking / over-planning
8.
Failing to delegate
Honestly, other than #3 above, the lost opportunities of last year
were mostly my fault, or at least somewhat in my control. I had the
ability to manage my time and efforts more effectively than I actually
did.
This is not to say I did a poor job. Actually, a lot was accomplished.
But, not as much as could have been. Was it the same for you?
In the prior issue there was an excellent article on goal setting that
will help me change my ways this year. But only if I actually follow
the suggestions…
