inundated with spam email warning you of
doom and despair of the loss of your listing
on Google. Unfortunately this brought about
scams and fear to honest businesses that
were just struggling looking for valid information. In the next year, you will find columns that bring all of the latest information,
with tools to help you
make the best decisions for your business
and your website.
Web Design and Development went from
Paralax design that
gave us cool rolling
websites to simple designs with large, readable fonts, informative
images, and easy to
traverse menu’s. As
2016 rolls out, the
website trends seem to
be headed to a simple,
crisp, clean look while
rolling in more customer interaction. This
year websites will be looking for the balance
between the correct amount of content, to
please the search engines, with fun interactive, social forms of relating to customers.
Facebook was one of the last social media’s
to include #hashtag search capabilities in
it’s post, but still holds the title for most
popular social media. But as it continues
to grow and flourish, they continue to offer
more tools to businesses and bloggers that
will reach their readers. Making Facebook
one of the greatest places for both customers and businesses to meet in a fun and
friendly place. In 2015 we also saw a rise
in the use of Instagram for business, but I
think some of us are still trying to figure this
one out. Don’t despair, in 2016 we will cover
some of the basics and even some of the not
so basic ways to use Instagram to promote
your business.
For those businesses that are just starting
out and are working on their “Brand”, colors were a great place
to start. You can look
forward to a focus
on a few more color
personalities in the
coming year. You want
to make sure that the
color of your brand
matches the color of
your business.
One of the toughest
things to learn when
owning your own
business is the talent
of sales. There are
companies that do
nothing but teach sales
techniques because of
it’s complicated nature. That is why business builder has given
you “Sales Talk”. In 2016 we will continue to
look for some great resources that help you
to learn how to master “closing that sale”.
When building your business, don’t forget the power of networking and never be
afraid of progress and change.
