NStadium at Windsor Park was first opened in 1905 , with a match between Linfield and Glentoran .
On Tuesday 6 May 2014 , work began on the redevelopment of the stadium . This included full replacement of the playing surface and drainage , demolition of the South and West Stands and state of the art replacements to provide modern spectator and media facilities .
The new South Stand now hosts corporate hospitality and conference facilities , which include 10 executive boxes and 4 main lounges . All are named after Northern Ireland footballing legends and come with an iconic view overlooking the pitch .

LOCATION AND PARKING
Windsor Park is located approximately 1.5 miles South- West of Belfast City Centre . Exit M1 at Junction 1 and take the second exit on the A12 Westlink roundabout , into Glenmachan Street . The ground has a large car park to the rear of the West Stand , parking around the ground is residential , although there is a number of large industrial estates and retail parks to the south of the ground which has plenty of car parking spaces .
