Almost £350,000 has been invested in more
than 140 local projects and community
groups, with a committee comprising of staff
from across a range of airport departments
meeting regularly to review applications for
support and award funding.
Michelle continued: “Through our
Community Fund, we’ve been able to work
with a vast range of organisations, including
Adoption UK (NI), the North Down Special
Olympics Club, SOS Bus NI, the Transplant
Sport NI team, Parents Education as Autism
Therapists (PEAT) and Deaf Awareness for
Young People.
“Two recent projects that received an
incredible response were the Cinemagic
Mental Health Day Showcase and the ‘Floreo’
project at Our Lady and St. Patrick’s College,
