The Archdiocesan Golden Anniversary celebration will take place on Sunday , June 11 , 2017 , at 3:00 PM in St . Philip Neri Church .
Please Note : This year ’ s celebration will not be a Mass , but a Prayer Service . Attendance of Mass for Sunday obligation will have to be met within one ’ s respective parish .
To register , the married couple is asked to contact their parish office before March 3 , 2017 .

High School Youth Activity
Sunday , March 5 , after 6:00 pm Mass till 8:30 pm — Lent 101 — Fr . Kyle will cover the basics of Lent and how , as a teenager , you can make 2017 the Best Lent Ever . After the talk , teens can hang out while those performing in the Station of the Cross will practice .

Annulment Writing Workshop
The Archdiocese of New Orleans will offer a writing workshop for persons seeking an annulment in the Catholic Church or for persons responding to an annulment . The workshop will be held in St . Rita Parish ’ s Msgr . Champagne Complex , 7100 Jefferson Hwy . in Harahan . The series will be for five ( 5 ) Tuesdays , March 7 , 14 , 21 , 28 and April 4 , 2017 . Father / Son and Mother / Daughter Programs
On Saturday , March 11 , 2017 , from 7:00 to 9:00 PM , the Father / Son Program for 11-14 year old boys will be held in Metairie at the St . Catherine of Siena Barrett Center and the Mother / Daughter Program for 10-12 year old girls will be held in the St . Catherine of Siena Melancon Center . The purpose of these pro-grams is to foster open communication between parent and child and to provide sexuality information and fertility appreciation in a Christ-centered atmosphere of love . “ Chefs ’ Charity for Children ” Fundraiser to Benefit St . Michael Special School
