Bangkok University’s Scholarships Scholarships are available to students with outstanding scholastic achievements. In addition, student loans are available to Thai students who can prove their need for financial aid. About 110 scholarships and outstanding academic achievement awards are granted to students each year. scholarship cover tuition fees and other related fees. Scholarships that are available for application as listed here are offered by the University itself. There are also other scholarships that may be provided from third-party institutions such as the government. Please contact our Admissions office for more information. All scholarships are annually renewable and are subject to a satisfactory review of the students’ academic records. Awards available are free from any financial and employment obligations. Prakaipetch Scholarship Benefits: • Tuition and fee waiver throughout all 4-years while studying at Bangkok University. • A monthly stipend of 6,500 baht. • An annual school supply allowance of 5,000 baht. • No repayment obligation. Required Qualifications: • Applicants must have Thai citizenship. • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, averaged over the final 5 terms of high school study. If the scholarship is awarded, the student must maintain a cumulative average GPA of 3.0 at all times. In the event that the cumulative GPA falls below 3.0 during any semester, scholarship privileges will be revoked for that semester only and can be renewed once minimum requirements are met. Application Materials: • An Official High School Transcript • A Letter of Endorsement certifying cumulative GPA and current status of good standing. • Applicants must submit a portfolio containing academic and professional achievements. • • • • Applicants must complete an admissions interview process. Applicants must submit 3 photographs (1 inch x 1 inch). Applicants must submit a copy of their Thai national identification card. Applicants must submit any official name / surname change documents, if applicable. Scholarship recipients are responsible for damage insurance fees of 2,000 baht (deposit returnable upon degree fulfillment) and annual life insurance costs of approximately 400 baht per year. BU Creative Scholarship Benefits: • Tuition waiver throughout all 4-years while studying at Bangkok University. • No repayment obligation.
