Though occupying the whole block , “ dead frontage ” is kept to a minimum : the ground level is transparent and welcoming , there are entrances on all sides of the building , and visual interplay between the interior and exterior , enabled by the generous glass curtain walling , enhances curb appeal and pedestrian interest .
Vattanac Capital is not a “ corporate citadel ” like the modernist office schemes of yesteryear . It is open , engaging and stands as a genuine contribution to downtown Phnom Penh ’ s upcoming urban rejuvenation . In Asia , their notable projects include Beijing and Guangzhou High Speed Stations , Incheon Airport in Seoul and KK100 , a 100-storey tower in Shenzhen . They are also working in collaboration with Herzog + De Meuron on the M + Museum in Hong Kong . �
