I opened my eyes when the warm breeze caressed
my face. The morning sun was bright, much
brighter than my head was ready to contend with. I
rolled over and covered my head in an effort to try
and steal thirty more minutes of rest.
“Wake up, beautiful.” Jack’s deep voice came from
behind me.
“Ugh . . . do I have to wake up? Isn’t this supposed
