| EROTIC book reviews | Misled Kathryn Kelly Erotic Heat Rating: 5 He deals in a world of violence, sex, drugs, and crudity. As president of the Death Dwellers’ Motorcycle Club, Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell presides over a club in chaos after the death of their longtime president and his mentor, Joseph “Boss” Foy. Megan Foy runs from her abusive stepfather, hoping for her daddy’s intervention to save her and get her terrified mother away before it’s too late. Only problem is, she soon discovers her beloved daddy is dead and the man who killed him is the man she’s falling in love with. REVIEW: This is one of those books that you’ll either hate or love. Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell is more of anti-hero than a hero. He’s rough around the edges and he did some despicable things towards other people. Megan Foy suffered a great deal in the hands of her stepfather. She went to find her father, her protector, only to find out he can’t protect her, too. Outlaw and Megan had to learn how to trust each other which is a little problematic since Outlaw did kill Megan’s father. I liked how it was slowly revealed why Outlaw killed Megan’s father. I also liked how Megan grew from victim to a stronger individual. The amount of violence in this book is staggering but since the whole story is set in an outlaw motorcycle club, the violence is expected. Despite that there are some light-hearted moments in the book which I loved. | Reviewer: Geri Anne Ejosa | January 2014 | 55
