started in earnest my training as an owner’s
project representative, managing budget,
scope, and schedule for a cross section of
University academic and administrative
clients. I learned to be a generalist by
managing architectural feasibility studies,
fit-outs, building envelope restorations,
graduate student housing renovations,
systems and elevator projects, and of course
landscape and site projects whenever I could
get them. I have been fortunate to have some
real gems come my way at each job; one at
Harvard was the Radcliffe Sunken Garden
restoration with Stephen Stimson Associates
and working on the implementation of the
Radcliffe Landscape master plan. I enjoyed
