campus life ROOM FOR MORE Bryn Athyn College has been blessed to receive donations that will cover the complete cost of construction thanks to very generous donors who believe in the mission of the College. This financial support will enable Bryn Athyn College to meet its growth and development goals while also improving the institution’s operating margins. New Residence Halls Foster Campus Community Bryn Athyn College will soon begin the construction of two new first-year residence halls which are slated to be opened for occupancy beginning next academic year (20162017). These buildings will have the capacity to house 82 students and will be placed next to the three existing suites (King, Gladish and Brock Halls). Each building will be built offsite using a modular construction method. The modules will then be moved to campus next summer where final installation and construction will occur. THE DIRECTOR’S TAKE Bryn Athyn College’s Director of Residence Life, Jennifer (Lindsay) Lucas, says that the new residence halls will bring a vibrant new space to our residence life community. She is pleased with the social opportunities that these buildings will encourage: “One of the most exciting parts is that their location will create a quad feel with the existing suites, providing students with a cozy outdoor space in which to congregate in the warmer months.
