Campus visit coordinator Leah Fisher (BA ’14), says, “Ro-
berta is great to work with. She’s very supportive and has a way
of balancing respect for tradition with a willingness to try new
things. Roberta allows for a kind of exploration that helps pro-
pel us toward better outcomes, either by way of new initiatives
or processes or through rediscovering that
the old ways work best, but maybe need
some slight adjustment. It’s a very effective
leadership style that is producing good re-
sults.”
Roberta’s tendency is to bring people
together and find ways to work more effi-
ciently. Her focus on process and transpar-
ency raises the bar for everyone around her,
and has already improved outcomes in the
admissions office. From increasing size and
quality of incoming classes, to improving
Roberta gives a tour to a potential student.
