Now standing 6'2" weigh-ing in at 230 pounds, Defensive Lineman Trey Pinkney has proven to be bigger, stronger and faster. His last year's 40-yard dash was clocked at 4.9, however Pinkney was able to cut it down to a 4.7.
This past season Trey posted 122 tackles, 39 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 2 blocked punts.
For all of his efforts Trey was named Marietta Daily Journal/Cobb County Football Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. Not only had his home county taken notice, but so had 13 higher level institutions. This recognition came in the form of offers to continue to play the sport he loves.
