uring the holiday season high school students may have been on a break from classes until the new year, but the student-athletes were busy the entire time. Beginning on Thursday December 20th through December 29th, Pebblebrook's boys and girls basketball teams participated in holiday tournaments at various sites in the area as well as out of state.

The young men kicked off their tournament journey at the Emerald Coast 16 Holiday Classic in Niceville, FL with a 9-1 record for the season. They faced the Somerset Academy Panthers (Pembroke Pines, FL) and were victorious with an ending score of 79-47.

Next the Falcon men would take on the Indians of Choctawhatchee High from Fort Walton Beach, FL. In a narrow victory of 59-57, the Falcon men advanced to the third round of the EC16 tournament and battled top-ranked Carmel Christian from Matthews, NC. In a hard loss against the Cougars, the Falcons packed up to prepare for their tournament on the West Coast.

It had been a long week but the Falcons couldn't lose momentum. Now with an 11-2 record, they went hard in their contest against The Moreau Catholic Mariners of Hayward, CA toppling them with a 74-64 victory. The next three days were

tough as the Falcons ended their tournament

journey with a 11-5 standing for the season.
