Pretend play activities are integrated with music , vocal development , storytelling , dance , movement and literature to encourage cognitive and literacy skills , creativity , and individuality . A $ 62 home material fee *, payable to the instructor the first day of class covers two full length CD ’ s , two illustrated books , family activity book , play set , rain shaker , and ankle bells in a backpack .* This fee and materials is required for each program participant . A parent or caregiver will join class during the last 15 minutes each week . Each participant must be accompanied by an adult , this applies to siblings and twins . Toddler Time Yoga

Breathe , move , connect ! Little yogis and their caregivers meet on their mats in this fun and energetic class that promotes body awareness , motor skills , and social / emotional development , while enriching the bond between child and caregiver . Developmentally appropriate yoga poses and games provide an amazing opportunity to play and learn . Breathing deeply and learning how to calm down is a game changer for little kids and busy adults alike , and doing yoga together sets the stage for a more peaceful home , smoother transitions , patience , and mutual understanding . Please bring a “ breathing buddy ,” a small plush toy that the child will use on their belly for breath awareness . Mats will be provided , but participants are welcome to bring their own .
