Nature Art Scapes | Ages 21+
Think of sandy beaches, sunshine, and sip on some wine as you
design and create your own shadow box design with sea glass
and drift wood. Materials for designs are provided. Wine is not
included in your registration. Participants must show proof of

Ravine Rangers | Grades K-3
Discover the winter magic of Lake Michigan and our varied
lakefront habitats, such as the dunes, ravines and bluffs
through exploration, experimentation and fun! Program is
entirely outdoors so please dress for the weather.
Min/Max is 6/12. 11 weeks.

Winter Widgets and Wonders | Grades 3-8
Hammer, cut, wind up, and imagine all the things we can build!
Use real tools each week to create your own structure. Use
everything winter has to offer to create exciting works of art.

One-Day Kid’s Programs
Snowbirds and Songs | Ages 6-10
Get out of hibernation and come warm up at Rosewood
Interpretive Center by moving and grooving like our winter
animals. Design and create your own animal outfit perfect for
dancing and make natural instruments that we can use to make
music. Combine the two together for a hibernation party that
will get everyone on their feet! Please bring warm, waterproof
outdoor clothing and boots for exploring outside (if the wind
chill is above zero degrees Fahrenheit). For more information

Fitness Programs
Rise and Shine Yoga | Ages 13 & Up
Start your day on a relaxing way! Join us for yoga at the
newly renovated Rosewood Beach. Yoga mats are limited
and available on a first come first serve basis. Participants are
encouraged to bring their own equipment to these classes.
In case of inclement weather, yoga is moved inside the
Interpretive Center. For more information, call 847.579.4554. Min
of 8 participants required in January for each class to continue the
class for February and March.
12 weeks. Fee is Recreation Center Member/Resident/Nonresident.
