Group Exercise Classes
The Recreation Center of Highland Park offers over 110 drop-in group exercise classes a week included with annual membership

Aquatics
Get a complete cardio and conditioning workout without
impacting or stressing your joints. Classes are in shallow
water and include cardiovascular and resistance training, as
well as suspension work and stretching.
Indoor Cycling
Class uses stationary bikes with weighted flywheel to focus on
endurance, and high intensity interval training.
Cardiovascular
Energize your body by elevating your heart rate in
cardiovascular classes that feature exercises that condition your
most important muscle-your heart-while burning calories.
Strength
Strengthen your muscles by doing resistance training using
barbells, dumbbells, and body weight exercises. Building muscle
not only makes you stronger, but raises your metabolism!
Mind & Body
Focus on the connection between your mind and body.
Achieve better self-awareness, flexibility, posture, balance,
and strength. Classes will involve relaxation, meditation,
core exercises, and yoga poses.
