Eco Explorers [Grades K-3] One Day Adult Programs Ecological Sundays Series | Adult Learn how cheetahs from Africa and coyotes from the Midwest are similar as they struggle with habitat loss and conflict with humans. Get ready for spring, learning the ecological benefits that gardens can have for wildlife. Program showcases the beauty of native plants and the importance they have in our home gardens. Afterwards, we will head outside to the campfire to make a tasty s’more. Each event offers different activities and games. Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult. Bring warm clothes for when we go outside to make s’mores. Min/Max is 6/20. See a live bird show, view wild eagles fishing along the river, make crafts and participate in hands-on activities. The colder it is, the better the bird viewing! Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult. Dress warmly and for walking; some of the best viewing areas involve climbing stairs. Meals not included. Min/Max is 5/13. Jan 26 1245110-A Sa 8am-6:30pm $23 Nature Discovery Day | All Ages Visit our nature classroom, complete a craft to take home, explore the science of nature, go sledding or cross country skiing, view live animals and enjoy a roasted marshmallow around a crackling campfire at our tenth annual Nature Discovery Day. Activities may vary and some are weather dependent. No pre-registration required. Feb 2 Sa 10am-Noon FREE Reptiles & Amphibians | Ages 6-Adult Join the Frog Lady and learn the difference between reptiles and amphibians. Meet live animals up close and get a chance to touch some.
