KinderExpress Bus & Supervised Lunch | Grade K Extend your Kindergartener ’ s day by enrolling in a West Ridge Center Program and KinderExpress ! Children are transported by District 112 school buses to and from West Ridge Center where a staff member will greet and assist your child on / off the bus . Participants should bring their lunch from home , play with friends , and be escorted to / from their West Ridge Center program . Programs with the school bus icon next to the title offer the additional KindeExpress option
• KinderExpress is available Mon-Fri for AM or PM Kindergarteners at Red Oak , Sherwood , Ravinia , Indian Trail , Lincoln , Braeside and Wayne Thomas schools .
• Children enrolled in KinderExpress must be enrolled in a West Ridge Center program . No exceptions .
• In an effort to keep KinderExpress running safely and efficiently , registration will not be accepted after Wed Dec 6 .
• School bus transportation is not provided on school nonattendance days ( Mar 29-Apr 6 , May 28 ) or flip-flop early release school day ( Jan 12 , March 28 ). Participants may attend the lunch portion of the program on these days , so long as parents provide transportation .

Participants have the option to sign up for a morning |
class , lunch , and an afternoon class with no gaps in |
between . Participants eat their lunches ( brought from home ), |
and get plenty of exercise outside and in the gym after lunch ! |
All participants will be escorted to and / or from their morning |
and / or afternoon class by West Ridge staff . Any program |
with an apple icon next to the title may be registered in |
conjunction with the lunch option . |
