Movies in Nature: Bag It
Can you go a day without plastic? This fascinating
and often hilarious documentary looks at one man’s
journey of plastic discovery and shows us ways we can reduce
the amount of plastic in our lives. Stay for a brief discussion
with a Naturalist to talk about easy ways we can help eliminate
plastic. No pre-registration required.

Ravine Rangers | Grades K-3
Discover the winter magic of Lake Michigan and our varied
lakefront habitats, such as the dunes, ravines and bluffs
through exploration, experimentation and fun!
Program is entirely outdoors so please dress for the weather.

Fitness Programs
Rise and Shine Yoga | Ages 13 & Up
Start your day off in a relaxing way! Join us for yoga at the
newly renovated Rosewood Beach. Yoga mats will be limited
and available on a first come first serve basis. Participants are
encouraged to bring their own equipment to these classes.
In case of inclement weather, will be inside the Interpretive Center
at Rosewood Beach. For more information, call 847.579.4554. Min
of 8 participants required in January for each class to continue the
class for February and March.
12 weeks. Fee is Recreation Center Member/Resident/Nonresident.

One-Day Kid’s Programs
Shipwreck Mysteries | Ages 6-10
Sunken ships and planes fill Lake Michigan, each with a story to
be told. Learn about shipwrecks, investigate a mock shipwreck
and find out how it sank, play games and build your own boat.
Please bring warm, waterproof outdoor clothing and boots
for exploring outside (if the wind chill is above zero degrees
