Learn to Skate USA Adult Classes Adult 1-4 13 & up Beginner-Advanced Learn standing and balance, forward and backward skating, Class broken into levels advanced moves, edges and turns. Women’s Workshop 13 & up Adult Advanced Artistic edges and flow to a variety of music on ice. Figures 13 & up Advanced Creating the figure eight and other patterns through body alignment, control, and technique. Adult Freeskate 13 & up Advanced Introduction to jumps, spins, footwork, and gliding maneuvers. Hockey Skating FUNdamentals Mini Mites 1 4-6 Beginner Basics for beginner hockey skater: stand, fall, balance, glide and stop. Helmet required. Mini Mites 2 . 4-6 Prerequisite Mini Mites 1 Forward strides, one foot glides, backward swizzles, turns. Hockey Skating 1 6-13 Beginner No skating experience required. Forward and backward skating, turns, glides, stopping. Hockey helmet with mask required. Hockey Skating 2 6-13 Prerequisite Hockey 1 One foot glides, backward stance, beginning crossovers. Hockey Skates, Hockey helmet with mask are required. Hockey Skills 4 & up Prerequisite Mini Mites 2 & Hockey 2 Developmental program to give skater a solid foundation of skating, stick handling, shooting and passing.
