Advisory Committees
In an ongoing effort to involve community residents in the decision-making process that affects the facilities and programs that they use , the Park District has established the following advisory committees : Athletics , Centennial Ice Arena , Hidden Creek AquaPark , Lakefront , Recreation , Recreation Center of Highland Park , Active Adults , Sunset Valley Golf Course , Sustainability , Tennis , and Youth Program . The committees are chaired by members of the Park Board and comprised of volunteer members who represent the users of the various facilities / programs . Current committee members are listed on the Park District website , pdhp . org under the " About Us " tab . Brochure Delivery
The Park District of Highland Park is pleased to provide our residents with seasonal and specialty brochures . We rely on the postal service for the distribution of our brochures in a timely manner . The Park District of Highland Park assumes no responsibility for delivery .
Photography
Photos and video footage are periodically taken of people participating in District programs and activities . All persons registering for District programs / activities , or using District property thereby agree that any photograph or video taken by the District may be used in District publications , advertising , marketing materials , brochures , event flyers , social media ( including Facebook , YouTube , and other social media sites operated by the District ), and the District ’ s website without additional prior notice or permission and without any compensation to you . All photos and videos are property of the District .

2 | DOWNLOAD THE FREE RAINOUT LINE APP The App allows you to customize the activities / facilities of interest so they will always show up first when you refer to the app in the future .
3 | PDHP . ORG View the status of all available activity and facility categories on the Rainout Line page *. On your desktop , you can hover over or click on the event / program / facilities / camps to see more detail . On your smart phone , you can click on the event / program / facilities / camps to see more detail .
4 | Rainout Line HOTLINE – Call ( 847 ) 579-9008 You have the option to listen to the menu of activity / facility extensions or you can enter a specific extension for automated updates . The extension list is also provided on the Rainout Line page at pdhp . org .
