Door-to-door bus service is
available for Highland Park
residents providing convenience
for you and the highest quality
camp experience for your children.

Our convenient door-to-door bus service picks up
campers from their homes, delivers them to camp,
and brings them home at the end of the day. On the
bus, campers are greeted and supervised by the
bus driver and camp staff for the duration of each
trip. Campers must be escorted to and from the bus
stop by a parent or authorized adult, no exceptions.
Campers must be picked up and dropped off at the
same address Monday-Friday.

Bus registration is available only for
campers riding the bus in the morning
and afternoon. No exceptions.
Registration for Bus Service may not be
combined with Before & After Camp.
Register for the bus transportation
option in each camp’s registration
section.
At pick-up and drop-off parents are responsible to
ensure their child’s safety while walking to and from
the bus. Fri Apr 19 at 5pm.
Please make arrangements in the morning and
afternoon to meet and supervise your children at the
stop. After this date, bus service is not
guaranteed and a $100 late fee per session,
per camper, will be applied. No exceptions.
Buses are designated as School District 112/Park
District Camp. Backpacks are issued on the first day
of camp to identify Park District riders. Requests for bus service are not accepted
after 5pm on Fri Apr 26 at 5pm.
Only Park District campers who are registered for bus
service may ride the bus. Address Change Deadline:
Campers not registered for bus service, may not ride
the bus home with friends.
All buses are equipped with safety belts, and receive
regular safety inspections.
For safety and accessibility purposes, some
addresses may require a nearby alternative pick up
location. If this is the case, you will be notified.
In order to accommodate all riders, camp routes are
approximately 45 minutes in length.
Campers may not be picked up or dropped off at
businesses or organizations other than their home
address. No exceptions.
Bus Service Registration Deadline
If you need to change your camper’s
home address after registration, it must
be submitted by Fri Apr 19 at 5pm
(including second session). Bus service
to new address not guaranteed.
To avoid a $100 late fee, written notice
of address change must be emailed to
[email protected].
First Session Bus Service Refund Deadline
Fri Apr 19 at 5pm.
Second Session Bus Service Refund Deadline
Fri Jun 14 at 5pm.
Second session runs Jul 15-Aug 2.
