creative camps SPOTLIGHTERS Grades 1-7 Spend your summer acting, dancing, and singing your way to the big stage! Performers are always looking for their big break to fame. This is your chance to shine under the spotlight! Dates to Remember Mon Wed Jun 10 Jun 26 Parent Meeting Spotlighter Undernighter the experience: • Develop new skills at weekly workshops spotlighting unique art forms such as Hip-Hop, contortionism, drawing, Opera, stand-up, and more! Led by industry professionals • Perform under the spotlight at a WNBA game (families welcome to attend!*) • Take your talents off site! Field trips range from theater performances to water parks for some good ole’ summer fun • More than just art! Chill out at the beach or pool on hot summer days and create delicious treats in cooking class • Junior Spotlighters perfect their skills with Learn-to-Swim lessons at the Recreation Center of Highland Park once a week • Senior Spotlighters let their imagination take flight in the ceramics studio • Show off your talents in a camper created, one-of-a-kind stage production performed at the end of summer *Admission required Campers love their weekly classes and curriculum, but summer is not complete without time to play and just be a kid, so we do just that! Campers receive a backpack and camp t-shirt on the first day of camp. The staff to camper ratio for Junior Spotlighters is 1:8 and for Senior Spotlighters it is 1:10.
