Registration Information & Fees
Registration requests must be made in-person at least 10 days
prior to the picnic date to secure a permit. Open reservations
start Monday, April 2. Parking restrictions/limits, Park District
programs/events and type of use are taken into consideration
for permit approvals. Please contact the Manager of Aquatics,

information.

Rise & Shine Paddle | Adults
Start your morning off with a serene paddle, enjoying the
sight of birds fl ying, the glimmer of the sun on the lake and the
sounds of nature. Life jackets are provided. Min/Max: 4/12. This
is a Heller Nature Center Program, please see page 44 for
registration details.

beautiful lakefront. Parking restrictions are in eff ect. (City
police patrol and check for valid permit holders). Rentals will be
unavailable on holidays.
One-Day Family & Adult
Programs
Family Paddle Days | Ages 10- Adults
Grab your family and head to the beach for a fun day
paddling. Uncle Dan’s Outfi tters will lead a lesson for the
whole family before heading ou t on to the lake. Life jackets are
provided. Children must be profi cient swimmers. Min/Max 4/12.

Center
Enjoy family friendly activities in the Center from 11am-4pm
on Saturdays and Sundays May 26-Sep 2, Mon May 28, Wed
Jul 4 and Mon Sep 3.
The one-of-a-kind Rosewood Beach Interpretive Center
celebrates our great Lake Michigan and its shoreline. The center
hosts a variety of ecological and nature programs for day camps,
local schools, and the general public. Casual visitors can also enjoy
interpretive signage throughout the site illustrating Rosewood’s
restoration eff orts in progress and the fascinating lakefront
ecological system.
