Class Make Up Policy USTA Start ReStart Tennis
The Park District does not guarantee a participant’s ability to
make up a class that is missed.
Please take a moment to call our desk at 847.433.5450 and let
us know about any future absence.
Please follow these guidelines when making up a class.
1. There is a limit of two make-ups per session.
2. Classes may only be made up during the session that the
classes were missed.
3. Participant must make up at their level or below; never above.
4. If participant did not notify DCRC of an absence prior to their
scheduled lesson, they are not able to make up that class.
5. If participant shows up to a class that is full, they may not
attend the class.
6. If participant does not show up after reserving a spot, it will
still count as their make-up. An entry-level USTA program for adult beginners who are
not members, or have not been a part of a Deer Creek Tennis
program. The perfect program for adults looking to start playing
tennis for the fi rst time or wanting to get back into the game.

Prior to a new session, adult classes with:
Notice: Private Classes
Private classes must be a full class with a 4 player to 1 pro ratio.
If class is not full, the class will not be considered private. Other
students will be allowed to join the class and use class for make-
ups. Private classes must run the full length of the indoor season.
Rain Makeup Policy
Rain makeups must be completed within the 7-week summer
program. No refunds; No exceptions.
Inclement Weather
Two ways to stay up to date during inclement weather:
1. Web: Visit www.rainoutline.com (search Park District of
Highland Park or enter 60035 zip code). View status of classes
based on the LOCATION of the class (Fink, Cunniff or Sunset
Park). SIGN UP to receive text messages or email updates for
specifi c programs AND for a specifi c length of time!
2. Phone the Rainoutline: 847.579.9008. Enter the program or
park location key (found on website) OR listen to the menu
and make your selection for Fink, Cunniff or Sunset Park.
In case of rain, classes will be cancelled.

Important Fall Registration Notice
Members AND currently enrolled 7-week class participants
are allowed to pre-register Aug 6-10, 8:30am-3pm, Monday
through Friday. Membership will be renewed on the day of
registration to avail this opportunity. Open online registration
will begin Aug 15, 2018.
2017-2018 Private Class Notice
Membership or 7-week summer session class will be required
for all customers who wish to have a ‘private’ class for the 2017-
2018 Indoor Season.
