Deer Creek Racquet Club is a home away from home for Highland Park High School Tennis Teams Head Tennis Coach Steve Rudman has been the Boys and Girls Coach for over 15 years. He has coached his teams to over a dozen Conference Championships and Sectional victories. There have been over 23 boys 1st Team All-State players and 8 girls 1st Team All-State players; three State Doubles team champions and a third place team finish in 2004. Steve was named Boys Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2010. He will be hosting several clinics at Deer Creek throughout the year. Current girls players from Deer Creek Racquet Club: 27 SUNSET WOODS SUMMER CLAY TENNIS COURT PASSES The new pass system will ensure that Highland Park residents and Deer Creek Racquet Club members have access to these great courts. GET YOUR PASS TODAY! • Passes are free for HP residents & Deer Creek Racquet Club members with proof of residency/membership • Non-residents may purchase a pass for $50 Passes may be obtained at the front desk Mon-Fri 9am-3pm CLAY COURT POLICIES Hours: Memorial Day to Labor Day until 10pm daily • Use of clay courts requires a valid Summer Clay Court Pass. Passholders must have their valid pass with them at all times while on the courts. • Passholders may bring guests. However, any guest without a pass MUST play on the same court as the passholder. • Attendants hours vary, but spot checks will be performed to ensure pass compliance. Passholders are REQUIRED TO use the RACK-UP system as follows: • To reserve court hang your racquet on the designated hook below for that court • Courts change on the top of the hour • Waiting passholders must inform current passholders of their desire to use the court • All PDHP tennis programs have priority use during spring/ summer/camp programs. • As a courtesy, players are encouraged to sweep their own court. • Ball hoppers are NOT permitted on the courts (Only 3 balls per court). • Dogs are NOT allowed on the courts. • Rollerblading, skateboarding and biking are not allowed on the courts. 32 Park District of Highland Park • 847.831.3810 • pdhp.org
