Bangkok and beyond, to offer students, staff and parents experiences through
contact with inspirational alumni and people from a variety of backgrounds.
Through engagement with the very best of education, the arts, science,
commerce, business and finance Shrewsbury will seek to inspire young people
to apply their learning both in school and in their future careers.
The School will consider how opportunities for dramatic performances will
be widened and embedded as part of life at Shrewsbury. The dramatic and
academic domains will be developed through an exploration of debating
at House level, and the already highly impressive music provision will be
continually refined and grown to offer opportunities to more young people at
all levels.
In the coming years Shrewsbury will seek to establish a truly immersive culture
of physical activity and develop the provision and quality of sport. Building
on solid foundations, sporting performances will be underpinned by stronger
participation at all levels, a development in the quality of coaching, and the
introduction of the very best of research based methods from the UK.
Physical activity and sport will be well resourced in new facilities. Indoor spaces
will more readily promote the physical literacy journey from Early Years to
university, and outdoor spaces increased to provide wider opportunity for all.
Existing facilities for swimming will be refined through the addition of roofing,
to improve access for the whole community, and ensure that swimming is
available all day, every day.
