Highland Park Giants Girls Softball | Girls
Grades 3-9
You’ll love being a part of a team and learn respect for players,
coaches, and officials. This league focuses on developing
your softball skills so you're ready for higher levels of play. We
play in the Northbrook Girls Softball Association League to
ensure fun and competitive games. Practice days and times
are determined by both player and coach availability. Saturday
games are played either in Highland Park or at Techny Prairie
Park in Northbrook. Registration fee includes a uniform.

**Game schedule varies weekly to include 1 weekday game and
1 Saturday game per week beginning April 14. Games are played
for 1.5-2 hours during times listed above. Practice times will be
determined once game schedule has been released.
Whether you’re new to the game, play for fun, or love to
compete, these leagues provide a positive team atmosphere
for all skill levels. Park district instructors and volunteer coaches
motivate players using the principles of the Positive Coaching
Alliance. All players should register based on the grade they
are in for the 2017-2018 school year. Registration fee includes
jersey, pants, hat, and socks, but only a jersey and hat for
summer league. No league on Jul 4. For more information, contact

Grade 2
Instructors and coaches teach the fundamentals. Games consist
of player and coach pitching. Teams practice and/or play on the
days/times listed below. Practices and games are assigned a 75
to 90-minute time slot within the time period listed below.
