The combination results in a beautiful “ heathland ” style course providing dramatic panoramic views and challenges the golfer ’ s mental toughness to focus on executing the shot at hand .
Every hole at Sunset Valley tests different aspects of your game . It isn ’ t a cake walk for good golfer or a torture session for the not-so-good golfer . The course is challenging to the low handicapped golfer with additional yardage and additional sets of tees . The high handicapped golfers have larger targets for the greens .
New green complexes and a bail out areas are at every hole . The highlight of the course is the new signature Hole # 4 , designed as a breathtaking peninsula surrounded by a lake with natural stone walls covering the embankment outlined with colorful flowering plants .
The reconstructed greens meet the exact USGA specifications and exceptional turf for putting surfaces contoured to provide a variety of fun experiences for every level golfer . Now , you have a much bigger target to putt from which is not technically the green , but a bail out area .
THE NEW CLUBHOUSE
The newly remodeled clubhouse offers a classic vibe with striking views of the golf course . Now featuring an expanded golf shop , the new “ 13 ninety ” restaurant & bar , as well as a cozy lounge area with fireplace , Sunset Valley ’ s clubhouse is no longer just a “ pass through ” to the course , but a destination for guests and golfers to shop and relax with a tall cold drink , a bite to eat , and a beautiful view .
Strategically located TVs in the bar , restaurant and lounge areas make it a perfect location to catch a PGA tournament or your favorite sports team . Outside , the trellised patio overlooking the course is the ideal setting for chilling out with drinks and a meal .
13 ninety Restaurant & Bar Casual , hip , and a smokin ’ view . 13 ninety is your “ go to ” place for vibrant American fare -- breakfast , lunch , dinner & bites . The stylish bar pours craft beer , wine and signature cocktails . Welcomes casual guests , group functions , and private parties .
Golf Shop The newly expanded shop carries great apparel and accessories for living in and for golf . We offer classic looks from brands such as Titleist , Footjoy and Nike as well as fresh new lifestyle clothing from Linksoul .

The new design raised the elevation of areas where people normally hit their second shots . Higher elevation means those areas are naturally dryer for better play .
