Lacrosse Lacrosse Girls Fall Lacrosse League with Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association | Girls Grades 2-9 The emphasis of this program is to develop the girl within the sport of lacrosse. The goals of the program are for players to have an understanding of: rules of lacrosse, active teamwork, sportsmanship, and foster personal development in a respectful environment led by positive coaching. IGLA uses the US Lacrosse “PLAYERS FIRST” ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT MODEL which means smaller fields and a smaller number of players.
