Become a Volunteer Coach Volunteering to coach a youth athletic team is a great way to be involved with the community and play an important role in providing a positive experience to our youth. The more parents are involved with the program, the more valuable the experience. It takes numerous coaches to provide each player with the attention they need to improve. All head coaches receive training in positive coaching techniques. Teams start with 3-on-3 play for learning purposes and switch to 5-on-5 play later in the season. Players will learn team-work, ball handling, and the rules of the game. Parents are encouraged to become volunteer coaches.
