Park Permits & Rentals
PARK PERMITS
Groups of 12 or more wishing to use a park must obtain a park
permit prior to their visit.
Permits are available April - October (residents may begin
applying at the beginning of March) and are valid from dawn to
dusk.
The District Park Ranger and City police patrol and check for
valid permit holders. For a list of parks and amenities see page 4.
Permit Fees (dawn – dusk):
12-59 individuals | $40/65
60-99 individuals | $50/85
100+ individuals | $70/120
Additional $50 damage deposit is required. Corporate and
not-for-profit fees vary. Parking restrictions/limits, park district
programs/ events, and type of use are taken into consideration
for permit approvals.
PARK PAVILION RENTALS
Looking for a covered space for your park event? Danny Cunniff
Park and Sunset Woods Park feature covered open-air pavilions
that are available for rental in addition to your paid park permit.
Rentals are available April - October (residents may begin
applying at the beginning of March) and are valid from dawn to
dusk.
Danny Cunniff Park | 2700 Trail Way
North Pavilion (up to 50 guests)
The open-air pavilion is near many of the park amenities
including disk golf course and fishing pond. The Pavilion is
not available weekdays while summer camps are in session.
Fee: additional $70/day (dawn to dusk)
Sunset Woods Park | 1801 Sunset Road
North Pavilion (up to 50 guests)
Offers a covered picnic area, wood deck with arbor, an
outdoor grill, and restrooms, all in a tranquil setting. The
North Pavilion is not available during Summer Day Camp
session from Jun-Aug.
Fee: additional $70/day (dawn to dusk)
Large Pavilion (up to 200 guests)
Located in the central section of Sunset Woods Park and is
the largest open-air Pavilion in the district. There are four
grills and washrooms nearby. Great for a large group.
Fee: additional - Full: $130/day or Half: $70/day (dawn to dusk)
Small Pavilion (up to 100 guests)
Situated near four play areas, skate park, basketball court,
two ball fields, and restrooms.
Fee: additional $70/day (dawn to dusk)
ROSEWOOD BEACH PICNIC AREA RENTALS
Reserve a picnic area at Rosewood Beach. Includes two picnic
tables for two hours. Available on select dates and times during
summer swimming season. Parking restrictions are in effect;
host will receive up to 10 parking passes valid for the day of
the event. Parking passes will allow parking only at the upper
Rosewood Park lot (city police patrol and check for valid permit
holders). Rentals are not available on holidays.
Fee: $45 (nonrefundable)
Park Permit & Pavilion Rental Application Process:
Applications for park permits and park pavilion rentals must be
done in-person at West Ridge Center, 636 Ridge Road, at least 10
days prior to the desired date.
West Ridge Center Hours:
M - Th: 8:30am-6:30pm
Fri: 8:30am – 5pm
Sat: 9am-Noon
Rosewood Beach Picnic Area Rental Application Process
Applications must be made in-person at least 10 days prior
to the picnic date to secure a rental. Open reservations start
mid-April. Parking restrictions/limits, Park District programs/
events, and type of use are taken into consideration for permit
approvals. Beach picnic area rental applications will be taken
at Centennial Ice Arena (April – May) and at Hidden Creek
AquaPark (June – Aug)
