General Information Pre-registration is required for all programs unless otherwise noted; on-site registration is not available at the start of most programs. Please note that a program may be cancelled early due to low enrollment. One-Day Program Refund and Transfer Policy What is better than a walk in the woods? Perhaps having a book to read along the way! Enjoy a book and a calm Fall stroll along a Heller trail. The Park District of Highland Park and the Highland Park Library have teamed up to bring StoryWalk to Heller Nature Center. Featured book: Wonderfall by: Michael Hall A refund or transfer for one-day programs must be requested at least four days in advance. No refunds or transfers are issued after this time. For Early Childhood & After School Programs, see page 101 for refund policy. Wonderfall follows a single tree through the changing of the seasons. People, animals, and vehicles pass in front of the tree, celebrating holidays, playing in its leaves, and getting ready for winter! Weather Policy All programs are conducted rain or shine. In the event of extreme or dangerous weather, the program will be cancelled and participants will be refunded in full. Please dress for the weather.
