REFUND REQUESTS
The Park District “ Good Time Guarantee ” Refund Policy does not apply to camps .
Refund requests must be made in-person at the Recreation Center of Highland Park during desk hours .
All refund requests must be accompanied by a completed camp refund form in order to be considered or processed . We do our best to issue refunds as quickly as possible , yet processing may take between 2-3 weeks . Check refunds generally take approximately two weeks . Credit card refunds are processed within three days of approval , although it may take 6-8 weeks to appear on your statement .
Refund Guidelines- 3 , 4 & 7 Week Camps
1 . A refund , less a $ 50 service charge per camper , per camp session , will be given if properly submitted to the Park District before February 28 by 5pm .
2 . Refund requests properly submitted after February 28 at 5 pm and before May 12 at 5pm will be processed less a $ 200 service charge per camper .
3 . No refunds are granted after May 12 at 5pm . There are no exceptions to this policy .
4 . Bus transportation fees are not refundable after April 21 at 5pm .
Refund Guidelines- Mini Camps
A refund less a $ 50 service charge per camp session will be given if a camp refund form is submitted to the Park District in person before 5pm on Jun 16 . No refunds are granted after this date . There are no exceptions to this policy .
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Insurance
The Park District does not carry medical or accident insurance for camp program participants , as the cost would make program fees prohibitive . Please review your own health insurance liability plan to be certain that you and your family have the proper coverage .
Behavior Management Procedures
Participants are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times . Guidelines have been developed to help make our programs safe and enjoyable for all . To learn more about our Behavior Management Procedure , contact 847.831.3810 .
Information Requests
Information regarding participants enrolled in Park District programs is confidential . For your family ’ s safety , staff will not release information to anyone who is not on your household account .
