Youth sports programs are designed to encourage boys and girls to develop fundamental skills and a basic knowledge of the rules of the game as well as practice teamwork and healthy sportsmanship attitudes. The Glenview Park District has partnered with Glenbrook South Varsity Football staff to create a unique offseason train- ing opportunity. Aspiring quarterbacks and wide receivers will develop their skills through technique based drills. GBS quar- terback coaches will work with players on footwork, throwing mechanics and how to read defenses. Wide receivers will be taught the fundamentals of catching and route running. Quarterbacks should register for Section A; Wide receivers should register for Section B. TITAN INDOOR LACROSSE – BOYS Improve your skills and stay sharp during the offseason in this exciting winter lacrosse program! With instruction by GBS Boys' Lacrosse Head Coach Will Jeffery, players participate in an indoor instructional program playing both box and trashcan lacrosse using tennis balls. Box lacrosse uses smaller goals and has fewer players on the field, allowing for more ball touches. Trashcan lacrosse is a half field 2 v 2 game.
