ARCHERY CLINIC
Learn and master the sport of archery in a safe environment . Participants follow an excellent , nationally recognized beginner ’ s 9-step to the 10-ring progression created by the Coaches Development Committee of the National Archery Association . Recurve bows , blunt tipped arrows and targets are provided . Bring a water bottle .

Randy Satovitz , club volleyball director , teaches players the skill work needed to play on a sand court . This program accepts all different skill levels . Bring your sunscreen and a pair of socks .

HOT SHOTS SPORTS SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Led by Hot Shots Sports , this league provides an opportunity for players to build their basketball skills while participating in a fun and exciting league consisting of one practice and one game per week . League begins on June 18 with player evaluations . Practices begin on June 26 and will be Tuesday evenings between 5-9 pm . Coaches will have the opportunity to select a one hour practice period during this time . Games begin on June 27 and will be played on Wednesday evenings between 5-9 pm . Once rosters are put together they are final . The program depends on parents and friends to volunteer for coaching duties . June 18 – Evaluations for all grade levels will take place at Park Center . These evaluations will determine team placement and provide balanced teams . Attendance at evaluations is required .

The Glenview Park District has established a Good Sportsmanship Code for Parents and Spectators which is distributed to all participants in park district Youth Sports Programs . This code sets a standard of behavior for parents and others attending youth sports contests that will help assure a positive experience for all program participants .
