Arts ADULT ART Students provide their own supplies unless otherwise noted. GLASS FUSING Assemble layers of glass and use a kiln to fuse those pieces together to create beautful works of art. Learn new techniques while honing technical skills to create several original works of art that can be functional or not. All levels are welcome! Through direct observation and still-life exercises, students learn the con- cepts of line, space, form, value and composition. CERAMICS Clay, glazes and tools are included in the fee. CLAY PLAY This fun class provides an introduction to clay, glazes and the basics of hand building; a creative and educational way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of ceramics. Gain an understanding of the principles of design through step-by-step instruction, direct observation and studies of masterful watercolor pieces. Let your imagination run wild! Learn basic clay building tech- niques and decorating and glazing techniques using a wide variety of colors. Class studio set-ups and independent projects will challenge the artist who is ready for more. A prerequisite for this class is Watercolor I and/or Drawing 1. FEE (R/NR) $150/$188 WHEEL THROWING & HAND BUILDING Work with clay! Learn wheel throwing and hand building tech- niques to create functional and sculptural projects. Decorating and glazing techniques will be covered as well utilizing a wide variety of colors. Returning students may work on their own projects with guidance from the instructor. AGES 10-14 YRS.
